Number of stories=19
Number of words=85,761 words

Not as many stories as in past years, but the word count is about par, which isn’t bad considering work has been all-consuming for the last six months and I was away most of September. Apparently, I'm getting less prolific, but more verbose.

Prompts remaining on the [livejournal.com profile] 100_situations table – 4 (so close, so close!). I have stories in progress for three of them, but I’m open to any suggestions for the last one, Scream.

It doesn’t feel like a year-end unless I follow sheep-like and add my round-up to the list. Fortunately, I did a year-to-date list at the beginning of August, so less than a page of stories to deal with!

Stats:

28 stories (30, if you count “James at…” as three stories)
87,621 words

Mind you, I have roughly 30,000 words written for the next Big Bang Challenge. If I count the first section, which is finished but for the proofing and could stand-alone, I can round that up to 95,000 in my head.

I can't believe another year has gone by so quickly. I'm certainly not going to get anything else written before 2008, as I have way too much to do before the office re-opens on Wednesday (including work!), so I'll procrastinate by putting this list together.

In Summary:
24 stories
84,818 words

Six stories and 13,000 words fewer than last year. Clearly, work got in the way of life last year - though the three-week vacation in the fall cut down on productivity a bit.

Because all the cool kids are doing it...

I started compiling this to satisfy my own curiosity, but it was an awful lot of work (procrastination), so I thought I might as well post it.

And I wanted to say how wonderful it was to have found such a great community of writers and readers. I'm not as involved as I'd like to be, but I still feel connected to people all over the world in ways I could never have imagined before.

In summary:
30 stories; 97,892 words - if work hadn't got in the way in the first few months of last year, I might have broken 100,000
Longest story: 12,983 words
Shortest story: 100 word drabble
Apparently instead of going on vacation last year, I wrote about House.
