I'm wondering whether some of the occasional problems with their relationship arise when Wilson tries to be the parent instead. I think that's very true. I hope that if the relationship changes after the Tritter arc, it will be to redress that kind of imbalance. It could be fascinating to see play out, because both of them would have to make some major readjustments.
Like yours and nightdog's -- they can't all have happened to Wilson, and yet in my mind they did. I see it as a kind of Fionovar thing. The show is the first of all worlds, but everything that happens on it ripples out into all the other fanfiction worlds. Same central myth, but different variations.
That's too cute about the boys (in their pajamas - that's beyond adorable). I have to admit, I chose the names as ones that seemed to fit with James - and it satisfied my youthful hatred of the Mulroney Tories to make Michael Wilson the black sheep brother.
