if you ever see an incident or plotline or device or whatever in any of my stories and you'd like to use it or run with it I have no doubt it will happen consciously or unconsciously many times - you have so many fascinating insights in your stories and I'm shameless about co-opting good ideas.

But that's a gorgeous image of the funhouse mirror. It also reminds me (in my uber-geekness) of Guy Gavriel Kay's Fionovar and the central conceit that what happens in that primary world ripples into all the other worlds.

I hope you do write a deliberate sequel to Slipcovers - your David frightens me, but he's a great window to Wilson's past. And I'm sure House will find a way to uncover the truth, whether Wilson wants him to or not. (I think Peter's going to have a really big mouth in my 100_situations ficverse)
