This was just lovely. Getting the story from Cuddy's point of view worked really well. We get her humour and snappishness (ooh, found a new word!) as well as her insight into the H/W friendship. I think somehow it comes better from another character rather than House or Wilson themselves or the all-seeing narrator. I could really hear the dialogue, and the situation felt authentic. Plus Wilson makes a really cute drunk :)
I loved that House is still House - suggestive comments about Cuddy's cleavage and sperm donor, and completely unable to lay off the sarcasm - even when he's being protective and/or serious.
The ending wrapped it up nicely and believably, leaving a happy warm feeling behind *sigh*
