I love how these guys apologize to and negotiate with each other, generally without ever outright saying what they mean; love House's hatred of his own sense of responsibility and guilt.
Wilson must have been SO relieved when House went back to work. Far too much mischief for him to get into at home.
ETA that this: the bastard knew he was in control in so many other ways -- this really resonated with me. Wilson does have so much power in that relationship, under the surface of it, and he knows that. Although I often think that even he doesn't understand the true extent of it.
