That made me smile so much my jaws hurt! I loved this: Lifting his cane, he jabbed Wilson lightly between the shoulder blades, repeating until Wilson at last stiffened and rolled over, rubbing his face free of tears and sleep. So very House. Not sappy at all, just him poking Wilson with his cane. This goes in my rec list.
